Mumbai University M.Com Admission 2013:-
Eligibility for Admission to M.Com. Part - I
1. Those who have passed the B.Com/B.M.S. Examination of this University or equivalent degree from other University.
Students from other Universities desirous of seeking admission to courses of the IDE should obtain a Provisional Statement of Eligibility from the Eligibility & Migration Unit, Institute of Distance Education, Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Bhavan, Vidyanagari, Kalina, Santacruz (East), Mumbai 400098, before they apply for admission. They should submit the Provisional Statement of Eligibility at the time of admission.
Students admitted on the basis of Provisional Statement of Eligibility should submit to the IDE the Migration Certificate in original with the Statement of Marks and Passing / Degree Certificate of the qualifying examination in original for confirmation of eligibility for admission to the said course before the close of the first term failing which their admission is liable to be cancelled.
Eligibility for Admission to M.Com. Part - II
M.Com. Part I students can take admission to M.Com. Part II Course ( The students those who have not passed M.Com. Part examination will be admitted on following conditions
N.B. The students who had taken admission at M.Com. Part - I course of IDE during the last Five academic years but had not appeared or appeared & failed at the examination of the said course. ARE PERMITTED TO TAKE ADMISSION TO THE M.COM. PART - II COURSE, subject to their passing the M.Com. Part - I Examination to be held in the Second Half of the year and their submission of the three attested Xerox copies of the Statement of Marks of passing the M.Com. Part - I Examination within ten days of the declaration of the result of the examination.
If the students do not submit their mark sheets of passing the M.Com. Part - I Examination by the due date, their advance application form for M.Com. Part - II Examination to be held in the First Half of the year will be treated as cancelled and will not be forwarded to the Controller of Examination.
In that case, the Advance Examination fees paid by the student will be refunded by the IDE on receiving the necessary application from the student within ten days from the date of declaration of their result of M.Com. Part - I Examination, falling which the advance examination fees paid by the student will get forfeited.
M.Com Admission 2013 Pune University:-
M.Com. (Semester Pattern)
The student who has passed any degree of University of Pune or any other recognised University shall be admitted to M.Com. Course.
Duration of the Course:
The M.Com. Course will be of Two years duration consisting of Two parts .i.e. Part I and Part II. Each part is having Two Semester .Thus the M.Com Course is of Four Semesters . Each Semester there will be Four Papers of 100 marks each .Thus The M.Com Degree will be of 1600 Marks.
For External Students, there will be an Examination of 100 marks on Case Study at the end of IV Semester.

M.Com.- Part I passed or failed as a external student from Pune University of Pune
M.Com.- Part I passed or failed as regular student of University of Pune
M.Com Admission 2013 Delhi University:-
Admission Procedure:-
I. EntranceTest:- Friday, 1st July,
II. Procedure for Application:-
Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi (North Campus) Candidates seeking admission under both general and reserved categories including those who shall be admitted to the School of Correspondence courses, must qualify at a written test to be conducted by the
Department of commerce. It shall be of duration and shall carry . The written test shall be based on the following syllabus and shall contain 200 objective type questions, 40 questions from each of the five units:
(1) Economics (including Micro Economics, Macro Economics, and Problems of Indian Economy)
(2) Accounting (including Financial Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Cost Accounting and ManagementAccounting).
(3) Business Statistics and Mathematics.
(4) Business Organization, Management, Business Law, Company Law and IncomeTax Law.
(5) General Knowledge and CurrentAffairs.
Each of the five units shall carry equal weight. The standard of the above syllabus shall be similar to that of B.Com. (Hons.) course of University of Delhi. The procedure for admission to M. Com. consists of the following:
I. Entrance test
II. Procedure for application
III. Eligibility conditions
IV Confirmation of Admission
Eligibility Criteria:-
1. Copies of certificates submitted along with the application will not be returned.
2. Combining any other course of the University with the M.Com. course is not permitted.
3. In the selection of candidates for admission to M.Com. course, the decision of the Admission Committee will be final. Admission is subject to fulfillment of the minimum eligibility conditions laid down below. The eligibility conditions for admission to M. Com. course are same for the regular and the correspondence (SOL) students. A candidate seeking admission to M. Com. course must have:
1. Passed B.Com. (Hons.) degree from University of Delhi or any other University recognized equivalent there to, with at least 50%marks,
2. Passed B.Com. (Pass) or B.Com. Degree from University of Delhi or any other university recognized equivalent there to, with at least 55%marks.
3. Passed B.A. (Hons.) Economics degree from University of Delhi or any other university recognized equivalent there to, with at least 50%marks.
4. Passed B.B.S., B.B.A., B.I.F.A. and B.B.E. degree from University of Delhi or any other university recognized equivalent thereto, with at least 60% marks.
Lucknow University M.Com Admission 2013:-
Eligibility Rules for Admission of Lucknow University M.Com courses:-
1. A candidate will be eligible for Admission to Postgraduate Courses if he/she has completed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with 10+2+3 system from any University recognized by University Grants Commission and has secured a minimum 45% of marks at graduate level. However for SC/ST candidates minimum pass percentage of marks will be 40%.
2. The admission to the Post-Graduate Courses in the faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce and Education shall be on the basis of merit of marks obtained in the Graduation/Qualifying Examination.
3. The percentage shall be calculated upto three figures after decimal point.
4. Candidate shall be entitled to weightage (if any) on the merit index.
5. Of the total number of seats in any subject, 80% candidates passing the graduate examination from the Lucknow University shall be admitted.
6. For the remaining seats (i.e. 20%) available after admission of the candidate in category (5) above, graduates from the Universities other than Lucknow University shall be admitted, provided that the merit of the candidates of other Universities is not below the merit of the last candidate admitted from Lucknow University. The seats remaining vacant under category (6), shall also be filled up with the graduate of Lucknow University in order of merit index.
7. In case where number of available seats is less and candidates secure same marks (percent) at the graduate/qualifying level examination, the admission of the candidate will be based upon securing higher marks in the relevant subject of the final year of the qualifying examination.
8. A candidate's choice of the subject in M.A./M.Sc./M.Com. shall be restricted to one of the subjects taken in the part-III examination for the Bachelor's Degree. Provided that a Candidate:
a. Who has studied Chemistry as one of the subjects at B.Sc. part- III will also be eligible to take the admission to M.Sc. Bio-Chemistry.
b. Who has studied Botany as one of the subjects in B.Sc. III year will be eligible for admission to M.Sc. in Plant Science.
c. Who has graduated in Science (except Agriculture) will be considered for admission to M.Sc. in Environmental Science.
d. Who has studied Electronics or Physics as one of the subjects in B.Sc.III year will be eligible for admission to M.Sc. in Electronics and M.Sc. Renewable Energy.
e. Who has studied Electronics or Physics as one of the subjects in B.Sc.III year or holding B.E./B.Tech degree will be eligible for admission to M.Sc. Renewable Energy.
f. Those candidates who have studied Economics as one of the subject at B.A. part- III will also be eligible to take admission to M.Com. Applied Economics.
9. Provided that in the Faculty of Arts the requirement of subject of study at graduate level for admission to various subjects (except Mathematics, Statistics and Literature eg. Hindi, English, Sanskrit etc.) shall stand waived off in case of candidate having obtained 55% or more marks at qualifying examination. Admission of such candidates in any subject shall not exceed 10% of the total number of seats. The graduate of the Faculty of Arts will be eligible for admission to M.A. I in Mathematics and Statistics. Science Graduates shall not be eligible for admission to M.A. I in Mathematics and Statistics. Those candidates who have studied Literature i.e., Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Urdu, Persian and Arabic as one of the subjects in B.A. III year will be eligible for admission in Linguistics.
10. A graduate from any discipline shall be entitled for admission to MBE programme, Institute of Development Studies, University of Lucknow.
11. Those candidates who have passed the graduate degree examination of this University and passed their Part I or Part II Examination from other Universities, their merit shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the BA part III examination of Lucknow University.
12. A candidate can not pursue two Postgraduate courses simultaneously.
13. A candidate who has already completed Postgraduate course in one subject will not be eligible for the second Postgraduate course though he/she will be eligible for professional course/Oriental Studies in Sanskrit/ equivalent course.
14. Candidate applying for admission to more than one subject must apply on separate form for each subject. One form filled by the candidate in no case will be considered for any other Course.
15. Final Merit list shall be available in the concerned Departments and same will be displayed on the University Notice Board.
16. University reserves the right to cancel any admission at any stage.
17. In case of any matter relating to the Postgraduate Admissions, the decision of the Vice-Chancellor/Admission Committee, Lucknow University shall be final.
18. All the legal matters pertaining to the Postgraduate Admissions shall be subject to the Lucknow Jurisdiction only.
19. If in the view of the University, sufficient number of Application Forms are not received in any course, in that situation the University reserves its right to cancel that course for this Academic session. In this situation the form fees will not be refunded.
20. If the number of applicants in any self financing program is less than 40% of the total seats available, the course will be suspended for the session. If the number of applications are more than 40%, candidates may be called for counseling but admissions will be done subject to the minimum 40% of the available seats being filled up. In any situation the application fees of the candidates will not be refunded.
21. The Fees of different courses will be displayed while declaring the final Admission List on the University Notice Board.
22. Candidates with Gap after Graduation need to submit Notary Certificate on a Stamp Paper of Rs. 10/-.
IGNOU M.com Admission 2013:-
Minimum Duration: 2 Years
Maximum Duration: 5 Years
Course Fee: Rs. 9,700
Eligibility:
Graduates in any discipline or equivalence from a recognised university are eligible for admission to the M.Com. Programme.
Medium of Instructions: English/ Hindi.

I (Santhosh Parumala) working in Dubai as an Accountant, i like to enroll myself for M.Com Part 1, i discuss with my friend in India and come to know that only two weeks period will be given to enroll for M.Com in july or august 2012 and the date is yet to be declared. I like to apply for leave to my compant in advance to visit India for registation. Please let to know the date so that i can book my Air Ticket and Inform my Company in Advance.
