FMS, University of Delhi conducts its own Entrance Tests for its highly-rated MBA programmes. Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi conducts this FMS entrance exam. Students who wish to pursue 2 yr MBA programs from this college can apply for this exam. This test has 175 questions based on verbal ability, English, Non Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning and the time duration is 2 hrs. Candidate applying for these MBA program must be a graduate in any disciple. The candidate should score between 50-55% in HSC irrespective of the stream and minimum 60% in the final examination of bachelors degree. Students appearing for T.Y can also apply for this entrance exam. However the candidate should not be more then 20 yrs of age. It is required that candidates register and apply online for the same.

FMS Exam 2013 Syllabys / Pattern:-

There is no prescribed syllabus or format for this multiple choice 2-hour admission test. The previous admission tests usually comprised the following basic areas:

    * Quantitative ability
    * Verbal ability
    * English comprehension
    * Analytical ability & Logical Reasoning

FMS Exam 2013 Eligibility:-

1. Candidates applying for admission to the first year of MBA (Full-Time) Programme must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree Programme after 12 years of formal schooling in any of the following disciplines. The minimum requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines is as follows :-

Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences – 50%
Sciences – 55%
Mathematics or Statistics – 60%
Medicine, Engineering or Technology – 60% / CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00

OR

Post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks.

FMS Exam Prepration Tips / Techniques / Tricks:-

• It is essential to start studying at least 3-4 months before the actual examination
• Be extremely clear about the topics or sections that will be covered so that you don't end up wasting your time studying about subjects that wont even be asked in the examination.
• For the English section of the FMS test it would be concentrate on fill-in-the-blanks, spelling errors, origin of words, analogies, phobias, synonyms and antonyms.
• You should also master the math formulas as there are number of questions in the FMS test which would require their direct application.
• Improve the speed; you have to answer 200 questions within 2 hours time, so arrange your time accordingly.
• Read the comprehension and vocabulary sections those are introduced from the last two years
• Practice the previously asked questions in the vocabulary sections, focus on new word or work upon your vocabulary.
