MAH-MBA/MMS-CET:-
MAH-MBA/MMS-CET is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra State for admission of MBA/MMS and PGDBM/PGDM in the Government, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State.

MBA CET Eligibility:-
Candidate should have Passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* ( 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Full Time Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities.
OR
Appeared for the final year examination of any Full Time Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years
duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities.
Note:
1. For the academic year 2011-12, both the Maharashtra State and OMS candidates who have appeared / appearing for the CAT 2010 are considered eligible for admission against the All India Seats subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria mentioned in the Information Brochure. Such candidates are also required to procure the Information Brochure alongwith Application kit and submit & confirm the Online Application form.
2. For admission to MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDM course, the candidate is required to score minimum 30 marks in MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2011. Candidates seeking admission on the basis of CAT 2009 are required to obtain minimum equivalent score.

MBA CET Preparation Tips / Techniques / Tricks:-
Understand the Test:- Before the MAH-MBA-CET exam, get familiar with the exam pattern. You can get all the information through internet. You should know the number of questions, time limit, expected cut-off marks, number of attempts required and other relevant details.
Time Management :- Before the Identify your strong and weak areas and allocate time for yourself to devote to each of the sections. This would avoid the temptation of solving more than required questions in any particular section.
During Examination:-
Avoid Flukes : There is magic dice that will tell you the right answers. If you continue to go by that approach, please be prepared for a disaster.
Capitalize on your strengths : In the heat of the examination, students fail to locate easier questions or the type of questions they have already done. Just scan the paper quickly and mark the questions which you must attempt first.
Urge to skip the questions : We tend to lose concentration at different stages during the exam and tend to skip questions because of time pressure. Again, follow the golden rule mentioned above. If you want to identify which questions to attend, it is imperative that you read all the questions.
Don’t be in a hurry : Panic and stress can lead you to this mistake. Instead of marking option A of Q.34 some people mark the option A of Q.33. While you think you marked a correct option, the result may be a different than what you have anticipated. So, don’t rush! Just check before you mark the options.
Avoid Erasing : Any kind of stray remarks can result in cancelation of your OMR sheet. So please don’t keep erasing and changing your answers. Sometimes when they are not completely erased, they can be detected by the machine and then, your answer will not be considered!
