XAT stands for Xavier Admission Test which is conducted by the Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI). This test is conducted at national level for students who wish to pursue management as their career option. The question paper is divided into Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning and Decision Making. The time duration to complete the test may extent from 120-140 minutes. The number of questions asked in this test is not fixed. XAT 2013 Syllabus:-
XAT Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning Syllabus:-
Reasoning, vocabulary, English usage or Grammar, comprehension from politics, linguistics, organizational ecology etc, miscellaneous words and sentences and jumbled paragraph are included in the question paper.
XAT Data Interpretation and Quantitative Ability Syllabus:-
Arithmetic, Algebra, Modern Math, Geometry, and Trigonometry, Profit and Loss,Time, Speed and Distance, Tables, Line Graph and Table and Geometrical Diagrams.
XAT General Knowledge Syllabus:-
Questions based on general knowledge, the candidates must have thorough knowledge of current affairs.
