ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (As on 01.07.2011):-
(i) Nationality / Citizenship: A candidate must be either (i) a Citizen of India or (ii) a subject of Nepal or (iii) a subject of Bhutan or (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st Jan. 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt. of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination &/or interview but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India. Qualifications:- (a). A Graduate Degree from a UGC recognised / AICTE Accredited University / Institution; PREFERABLY WITH A Diploma in Banking & Finance (DBF) from the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF) , AND (b). Candidates should be Qualified in the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS and should be holding a valid score card issued by IBPS . Candidates should have valid IBPS Score Card obtained in Common Written Examination [CWE] for Probationary Officers [POs] / Management Trainees [MTs] 2011-12 with the following scores:

IBPS Score cut-off for category - Unreserved - SC/ST/OBC/PWD:-
Test of Reasoning [TR] - 24 & above - 21 & above
Test of English Language [EN] - 24 & above - 21 & above
Test of Quantitative Aptitude [QA] - 24 & above - 21 & above
Test of General Awareness [GA] - 24 & above - 21 & above
Test of Computer Knowledge [CK] - 24 & above - 21 & above
Descriptive Paper on English [DP] - 24 & above - 21 & above
AND (c). A Certificate for having completed a Course in Computer Awareness & Office Automation for duration of minimum 100 hours from a reputed Computer Training Institute, which will be waived where 'Computers' is a part of the curriculum at the Graduation / Post-Graduation Level. Description : Created by the assembler and link editors, ELF object files are binary representations of programs intended to execute directly on a processor. The File contains headers of the files, sections & segments. The sections hold all the data in the file needed for execution. The bulk of information stored in the sections is debug information which is not at all needed for execution. So the space used is wasted in information which is worth nothing.
This motivated us to develop such a utility which optimizes the ELF in size, removing the unused information. This utility can prove itself very useful for embedded applications where the memory space costs a lot
Applications :
? As it reduces file size so data can be transferred easily over networks.
? This optimizer for ELF has immense use in wireless technology and military applications as memory size and speed of data transfer is of prime concern here.
