Central Bank stands to be the largest and the oldest commercial bank in India which is owned by the Government of India. It has nearly 3500 branches all over India. It was established on 21st December 1911 by Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala with Sir Pherozesha Mehta as Chairman. Central bank has issued notifications regarding the availability of jobs in the bank. The candidates who have taken the common written examination conducted by IBPS and who have managed to score well are eligible to apply for the jobs in this bank, apart from this score the candidate has to fulfill other details as well. The placement can be given in any branch to various posts depending on the caliber and the score secured by the candidate.

Central Bank of India Recruitment of Auditors on Contract
Age:- Less than 64 years.
Qualification:-
Essential:- A Graduate from recognized University with Computer knowledge.
Desirable:-
i) JAIIB/CAIIB and exposure to Audit and Core Banking.
Experience / other eligibility criteria:-
Essential:-
i) Candidate should have retired from public sector bank in Scale III/IV on VRS or on attaining superannuation with minimum 20 years of service of which atleast 15 years in Officer Cadre out of which he should have worked as Branch Manager for minimum 3 Years.
ii)Age less than 64 years (As on 31.01.2012)
iii) Should have knowledge of Credit and/or Forex Business.
iv) He should possess satisfactory service certificate from the previous employer.
Desirable:-
i) Exposure to Audit and Core Banking.
ii) Good physique to undertake frequent tours at various places.
Contract Period:-
The candidate shall be appointed on Contract basis for a period of one year. Renewal may be possible at Bank’s sole discretion in terms of extant policies and rules, the contract may be terminated by either side by giving one months notice.
JOB PROFILE:-
These Officials shall have to undertake Risk Based Internal Audit of at least 25 Branches during contract period of one year. They will be subjected to accountability for not reporting High Risk areas/suspected frauds/persisting irregularities in their audit reports. They are required to submit audit report to concerned Zonal Audit Office.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:-
The eligible candidates will be called for personal interview and the decision of the Bank in this regard shall be final.
