Formed in the year 1988, National Highways Authority of India is the government of India owned agency that is responsible for the development and maintenance of National Highways in India. In last two and a half decades, NHAI has been acting as a project management organization under the guidance of the government, with the mandate of developing highways and roads for easy and smooth transportation. Every year, NHAI is assigned as a vigilant body for establishing more highways and roads across the country. These endeavors have to be completed within the give time limit. In order match up with the deadlines, the agency looks for skilled professionals who can assist the agency to meet their aim. Keeping this thing in mind, NHAI recruits candidates for different posts under it such as contract manager, financial analyst, accountant and many more.

1) Dy. General Manager (Planning & Information Systems)
No.of posts:- 02
Experience:- Essential 9 years’ service in a responsible senior position of which at least 2 years should be in the grade next below in work relating to project planning; Management and control in a Govt. Deptt./Autonomous Body/PSU or commercial Organization of repute. Desirable: Experience of about 5 years in the field of MIS dealing with highway engineering / construction or any other allied form of service transport.”
Recruitment Criteria (in case of Promotion / Deputation):- By deputation /transfer from candidates possessing the qualifications and experience stipulated in Col. 7 of RR or from candidates holding analogous posts in a Central/State Govt. Deptt./Autonomous Body/PSU or with 3 years regular in the scale next below. Period of Deputation : Shall not exceed 4 years but may be extended with the approval of the Central Government.
Note:- Candidates belonging to SC / ST / Minority Communities are especially welcome and should apply in large numbers.
1) Site Engineers or Site Supervisor

Note:- The period of contract on selected shall be for an initial period of One Year, which may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of NHAI, The number of Posts indicated may vary depending on the requirement.
