Baba Farid University of Health Sciences - BFUHS is located at Faridkot, Punjab. It was established under an Act passed by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in July, 1998. It is recognised by University Grants Commission under Section 2(f) of its Act, 1956.
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences has fsix faculties namely Faculty of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Dental Sciences, Faculty of Nursing Sciences, Faculty of Ayurveda, Faculty of Physiotherapy, Faculty of Homoeopathy.
The Govt. of India has recognized the MBBS, MD/MS/PG Diploma/BDS/Bsc(Nursing)/M.Sc.(Nursing) being awarded by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.
