The Directorate of Correspondence Courses & Distance Education Bangalore University has one of the largest student enrolment in the country. Bangalore University Distance Education offers diploma & degree courses in subjects like Arts, Commerce, Science, Languages, etc. This University has been approved by Distance Education Council (DEC). The examinations for these distance education courses are held in various centres across India in the month of may. Bangalore University Distance Education has study centres across various cities & states of the country.
Bangalore University Distance Education Admissions 2012-2013:-
Admission is open to candidates who have passed the qualifying exam from Bangalore University area irrespective of the place of their residence. Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam from a university / board other than Bangalore University area should enclose challan/receipt for prescribed amount being the fee for issue of an eligibility certificate alongwith enrolment application.

B.Com (English Medium):-
Duration:- 3 years
Eligibility:- Pass 10 + 2, Completed 18 years of age as on July 1.
B.A (Eng/Kannada Medium):-
Duration:- 3 years
Eligibility:- Pass 10 + 2, Completed 18 years of age as on July 1.
MA/M Com (English Medium):-
Duration:- 3 years
Eligibility:- Any Degree, Completed 2 1 years of age as on July 1.

Plz suggest me which wil be better to do distance studies & also the admission dates for this year2011..... many of my friends says distance studies r not consider as same wit regular studies,& also mark sheet wil be different,,,,,...
