About the University

The Central University of Karnataka - CUK has been established by an Act of the Parliament (No. 3 of 2009) at Gulbarga, Karnataka. It is one of the 16 new Central Universities established by the Government of India during the UGC XI Plan Period.
Central University of Karnataka has well stocked library with over 4,500 books, well equipped with modern computing facilities for students and researchers.
Central University of Karnataka offers BBA, Integrated M.A in English, History, Economics, Geography, Psychology, 2 years M.A. Programmes in Economics, M.S.W. (Social Work), 2 years M.Sc. Programmes in Geospatial Applications in Regional Development, Psychology courses.
