Central University of Punjab was established in 2009. It is one of the 15 new Central Universities established under Central Universities Act 2009.
Central University of Punjab is creating supporting and stimulating conditions and opportunities whereby one can learn, grow, interact and discover. It would be an exciting, safe, healthy, motivated and happening place with a green energy efficient, Wi-Fi campus, innovative and ignited faculty, global level laboratories, automated libraries, vast playgrounds, auditoria, research centres and other world class support systems. The University would introduce participatory delivery techniques facilitated through seminars, group discussions, off campus visits, online support, web, multimedia, live projects, field studies, demos, team presentations, skill workshops, etc.
Central University of Punjab offers M.Phil.-Ph.D. Integrated Programme in four courses namely Biosciences, Environmental Sciences, Comparative Literature and South and Central Asian Studies.
All the candidates who are interested to take admission in Integrated M.Phil - PhD Programe of the Central University of Punjab must appear in the entrance examination.The medium of entrance test is English only. Medium of Instruction in the University is English. Comparative literature is taught in English. Only language courses will be in same language
