The Directorate of Distance Education Kuvempu University has one of the largest student enrolment in the country. Total 15000 students took admission to the various courses offered through the DDE and have been totally satisfied with the courses. Kuvempu University Distance Education offers 40 courses directly in various faculties at the U.G., P.G. and Diploma levels. It has been approved by Distance Education Council (DEC). The examinations for these distance education courses are held in various centres across India in the month of may. The University has thousands of study centres across various cities & states of the country.

Kuvempu University Distance Education Admissions 2012-2013 Notification / Important Dates:-

Duly filled in entrance exam applications should reach the director on or before 30th April, 2011

Entrance exam shall be held on 15th May, 2011

Kuvempu University Distance Education MBA:-

Duration:- 2 years

Eligibility Criteria:-

(i) Any Candidate who has passed the three year degree examination of this university or any professional degree of this university or other university.

(ii) The Candidates should qualify in the Entrance Test conducted by this University. The weightage for the qualifying Exam and the Entrance Test shall be 50:50.

Kuvempu University M.Sc:-

Duration:- 2 years

Eligibility:-    

A candidate who has passed examination of B.Sc. or B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. Agri. / B.Sc. Home Sc. or any degree in Science of this University or a degree of any other University recognised as equivalent thereto and passed the examination concerned are eligible to register his / her name for M.Sc. (Previous).

Kuvempu University LLM:-

Duration:- 2 years

Eligibility:- A candidate who has completed LL.B./B.L. from this University or any other University, recognised by UGC is eligible for admission to LL.M. course.
