Nagpur University

Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University formerly known as Nagpur University is located at Nagpur. It was established on 4th August, 1923. It is recognised by UGC and Accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘A’ grade. At present the Nagpur University has 36 Post Graduate Teaching Departments (PGTDs) and 3 constituent institutions. Around 350 colleges are affiliated to the Nagpur University, out of which140 are self financed and 160 are publicly funded colleges.

Presently Nagpur University comprises of thirty-Seven Postgraduate Teaching Departments (PGTD), three Constituent Colleges/Institutions (Law college, Laxminarayan Institute of Technology, and College of Education). Four hundred Thirty  Nine colleges are affiliated The Department and conducted college/Institution buildings are spread over in 7 campuses with an overall area of 327 acres. Following programs under various faculties are run through the above-mentioned PGTD, Conducted College and Affiliated Colleges.
