SRM University

SRM University is located at Chennai. It was established in 1985 as SRM Engineering College the institute gained deemed status in 2003-04, and was renamed SRM University. In 2006, The deemed university attained the status of a full-fledged university, under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. The National Assessment and AccreditationCouncil has accredited SRM University by Grade equivalent to 5 stars. SRM University Admission 2012:-

For B.Tech. Program:-

Admission to the B.Tech program will be purely on the basis of performance in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination of SRM University (SRMEEE) subject to minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry or Biology, Physics and Chemistry in the qualifying examination.
Candidates, on the basis of the merit list, will be called for counseling at SRM University for final Admission.

For B.Arch. Program:-

Admission to B.Arch. program will be based on the aggregate of marks secured in the qualifying examination and in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
Admission would be offered purely on the basis of the merit list by giving equal weightage to aggregate of marks secured in qualifying examination and to NATA score.

For M.Tech. Program:-

Admission to M.Tech program will be on the basis of performance in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination of SRM University (SRMEEE). Candidates with valid GATE score can also apply for admission.
Candidates, on the basis of the merit list, will be called for counseling at SRM University for final Admission.

For M.Arch Program:-

Admission to M. Arch program will be on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination, professional experience and performance in the interview.
Candidates, on the basis of the merit list, will be called for counseling at SRM University for final Admission.

For MCA Program:-

Admission to MCA program will be on the basis of performance in the Entrance Test conducted by SRM University.
Candidates, on the basis of the merit list, will be called for counseling at SRM University for final Admission.

For MBA and PGPM Programs:-

Admission to MBA and PGPM programs will be on the basis of performance in the All India Entrance Test conducted by SRM University. Candidates with a valid score in CAT/ MAT can also apply for admission.
Candidates, on the basis of the merit list, will be called for group discussion and a personal interview at SRM University for final Admission.

For Medical Courses:-

Advertisement will be released in all leading dailies during April / May of the year for admission to various programs and entrance examination will be conducted during the month of June.
