Symbiosis International University

Symbiosis International University is located at Pune. It was established in 2002 as Deemed University and further in 2006 the UGC vide its notification withdrew the word Deemed and renamed the University as Symbiosis International University (SIU).  It has been given official recognition by the UGC and the AICTE. The Indian NAAC has conferred an 'A' grade to the University. SIU is part of the Symbiosis Society which is its managing body. Symbiosis International University has 19 Academic Institutions spread over 9 campuses in Pune, Nashik and Bengaluru. It is host to over 45,000 Indian and International students on campus and over 1,00,000 students off-campus. All these institutes form part of the Symbiosis Society, with the other institutes in the Society being affiliated to various other bodies. Students from about 64 countries are enrolled in its one or the other course.

Symbiosis International University is encompassed with Wi-Fi networking that allows the student to access high-speed internet connection. Apart from this, there is G.I.S. and Remote Sensing Facilities, Automatic Weather Monitoring Facilities, Ion Analyzer and Smoke meters for vehicular emission studies, Ion Chromatograph, Portable equipment facilities for Air, Water Pollution studies in the field, T.V. and V.C.R. for Educational Purposes, Library facility, Study Rooms, Research Rooms, Locker facilities and Xerox machine facility.

Symbiosis International University Admission 2012:-

• Admission of Symbiosis International University Undergraduate programs through Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a common written test for admission any undergraduate programme of Symbiosis International University. It is a mandatory written test for the admission process for all undergraduate programmes except for the following programmes Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Sciences(Medical Technology), Bachelor of Sciences (Nursing).
• Admission of Symbiosis International University Postgraduate programs through Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a common written test for the admission to all postgraduate programmes of Symbiosis International University.

Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL) is located in the heart of India’s premier educational centre, the city of Pune. SCDL has one of the finest interiors with a state of the art infrastructure and a skilled and dedicated team available to help our learners achieve their dreams.
